“Work doing what you love, and you never work a day in your life.” I really love helping people realize their best self. I earned a Master’s Degree in Social Work, from Stony Brook University Graduate School of Social Welfare and hold permanent licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of New York. I have earned several post-graduate certifications in parenting training, various therapeutic modalities, and adolescent development. I have extensive field experience in Critical Incident Stress Debriefing and treatment of PTSD.
With more than 15 years of experience working therapeutically with clients across the life spectrum, I have a special focus in adolescence, crisis response, and bereavement. My objective is to partner with YOU on your journey toward achieving YOUR goals. My usual clients are those with challenges ranging from depression, anxiety, mood disorders, school issues (refusal and other issues that interfere with education) LGBTQ, life-stage adjustment, PTSD/trauma, grief/loss, end of life, relationship and familial conflict, and parenting: including foster and adoptive parenting. My particular approach is collaborative, compassionate and inclusive. I have extensive training in a variety of therapeutic modalities including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CB-T) Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT) and can offer short or long-term solution focused therapy for a variety of life issues. Group therapy can be made available for specific issues or ages.
